This is a 5 micron filter kit. It is compatible with both water soluble and oil based cutting fluids. The filter element is disposable and made from spun polypropylene, so it won't dissolve or burst under pressure. The filter is put on the high pressure side (after the pump). It can be positioned anywhere that works for mounting and service convenience.
