Well, after admiring the top notch quality for a few days, I finally installed my nickel plated fluted steel light weight firing pin assembly in my Remington 700 long action (300 RUM) bolt. I immediately noticed a huge improvement in the lack of firing pin recoil and vibration over the factory setup. I am a veteran lead machinist / toolmaker that has made many prototype and production large scale, no expense spared Naval/Army/Marines guns (Google the AGS on the DDG 1000 destroyer, and remote guardian system on the Osprey and you will see some of what I have worked on), and I can honestly say this is the first time I've ever purchased any firearms product that lives up to the standard of my own abilities.
